Test To Detect Alzheimer’s Disease Before Symptoms Appear
Researchers at the Sahlgrenska Academy have amazing results regarding the possibility of detecting Alzheimer’s disease before symptoms appear. This is seen possible through the use of a cerebrospinal test to detect protein fragments that are released to the CSF which also causes the disease’s hallmark memory dysfunction and disorientation. This protein fragment called beta-amyloid forms clumps which are found between nerve cells of the brain hence memory loss.
